The SCARS dog jog is one of our two annual fundraisers. All money goes to support the animals in our care. Tails on the Trails is a 60 minute walk on easy terrain.

Sandy Beach Duathlon
With net proceeds going to SCARS!

SCARS was thrilled to be chosen as the charity for the First Annual Sandy Beach Duathlon!

The First Annual Sandy Beach Duathlon on May 18, 2008, consists of a 5 km run, 30 km cycle, and a second 5 km run along the rural roads of Sandy Beach and Highways 642 and 777, towards Onoway.

The race is sanctioned by the Alberta Triathlon Association.

SCARS will be appearing on Global Edmonton every Saturday! Please watch for us at 9:45am on the Saturday Morning News. We will be highlighting two of of furry friends each week!
SCARS is a non-profit charitable organization and can issue tax receipts. We are only funded by our members and supporters and currently do not receive government financial support.

 If you would like to contribute to our worthwhile cause, please donate online. A tax receipt will be issued for all donations over $20.00
