August 2009 update - We are writing to say thanks to all of you at SCARS for Betsy. She is a really enjoyable addition to our family, and she is adjusting really quickly. She made herself right at home with us like it was meant to be.
We have already given her two nicknames -- toe biter and hoppy as she hops when she plays.
Betsy learns very quickly and this is how she would describe her accomplishments since she came to live with us:
1) I am completely house trained (I bark when I want in or out)
2) I play fetch
3) I sit for my treats and I like to pose for my pictures
4) I love to go for truck rides with my parents
5) I walk very well on the leash, but still having more learning in that regard.
Thanks to everyone who was involved with taking care of Betsy. she is a joy to have and we will highly recommend SCARS as we think you do a great job.
