Sammy's Pet Boarding annual donation drive for SCARS

SCARS would like to thank Vicki Stafford of Sammy’s Pet Boarding in Athabasca for her very successful 4th Annual Donation Drive for SCARS. Between Dec. 1/10 and Jan. 5/11, Vicki collected two pickup truck loads full of blankets, towels, pillows, collars, treats, dishes, and food as well as an amazing $1265 in cash. She was hoping to surpass last year’s record of $500, but she never imagined she would exceed $1,000. SCARS would also like to thank Donna at Lifestyle Fitness for being Vicki’s drop off location in Athabasca and the Athabasca Veterinary Services for accepting donations on behalf of the drive. We are also grateful to Athabasca’s 94.1 The River for advertising the drive under their Community Events Calendar, and the Athabasca Advocate for doing a fantastic job on their advertisements.
